October 28 Oes tsetnoc
In the last few months, SEO news and tricks have been flying around like bats at Halloween but now oes tsetnoc, seo contest words reversed, allows some of us to compare and test our skills to possibly get a quick $1000 for doing what we do. The trick for promoting entry pages has been not tainting the page rank for other sites in the network, watering down the already thin mixture of design and division, making fresh content from old articles and pages plus raising our relevency for that term.
First, you have to specify which page is going to win so no matter what page you get into the search engine results, you don't place if theat page doesn't appear in the top three. The rules allow for changing your URL, but only up to ten days before the deadline.
Second, it has to be Google, not Bing or Yahoo. Got to shoot for the stars.
Last thing for now, the contest is open to ANYONE, ANYWHERE with a website, the winning sites (1st, 2nd and 3rd domains placing) are competing against the world.
As far as satisfaction is concerned, landing anywhere between 1-30 will be fine, no amount of prize money can reward a job well done and the knowledge that you can create ANYTHING with great results... no pun intended. Personally, if either site gets into the top ten I may be unbearable for a while.
Backlinks
We can use it you can backlink for us. Please use only the contest term " oes tsetnoc" and link it to http://str8.us/ or http://oestsetnoc.name/ , just the domain address not other pages in those sites.
Thanks,
Keep it Str8. July 17 I'm ready to have fun with the internet again so there will soon be a free tool at Str82u.com to make your long links to articles and blogs short for sharing on sites like Live, Twitter, MySpace and more using "str82u.com" in them. I'll update everyone about this free service when it's ready for you to use, for now there are full length Family Guy episodes to watch courtesy of Hulu and without all the extra graphics to slow the browser down. These will also become a regular feature of the site because it's FUN! July 09 So, what's this guy been doing? Well, don't ask... PLEASE. But, what I'm doing now is continuing to build the "People Search Empire" 3 to 7 cents at a time. That's the truth. Anyone interested in hosting or building websites will get this Wreath Of Laurels and a hearty handshake for our new .... Yeah, no kidding. That's NO joke. You can't work for anyone other than yourself, even if it's the worst boss you've ever had. And a few cents a click isn't bad if you get thousands of clicks a month.
So all complaining aside, I've started getting more sites up and replacing a bunch that were lost due to #@&%! and using new and old strategies to do it. The biggest secret I'll share to get placed in search engines, especially Google, is to have your niche sites on different servers. Using C Class hosting was ok, and it may go back to that because it really wasn't a great expense at $5 per site per IP Address since all the domains were hosted in the same spot. That's a handy thing too. For now, free hosts are filling the gap and doing well, with 3 new/old sites being uploaded over the last week. Another is being put together under the Str82u nameserver and has a spot ready to go at a free host now.
Google AdSense has a great feature that allows you to park domains and advertise if you don't have a site built already and since there are a few Mortgage Financing/Refinancing domains without sites, that's where they live and the free people search domains are slowly coming out of mothballs. You won't get rich on this BTW. The trick to that service is to buy expired domains that had a little traffic and try to get residuals off the previous owner, I think. The next project for niche sites has been the Financing or Refinancing mortgages for about 2 years and might actually start growing before Christmas.
Well, that's about it for now, gonna get a nap... yeah, right. Anyone wanting to talk or get some SEO going, Hit Me Up! September 25 Been a while since adding to this blog, sorry to those who check in with my page, don't mean to disappoint... HibbingHobo, if you're still having wireless problems let me know, I just figured out the one for my home office...WOW it's cool.
So what's been going on? Well, the main site, Str82u.net has an Assisted People Search feature for $5 or $10 to help folks who don't have the time to search for themselves, while I can't find people free because of the time involved (and you might not believe how many requests come in), the site's have partnerships and associations with larger companies and I use them to get what some might not find in public records or free sites. There is a small, very small, team that works to do these searches and whoever gets results for a customer gets or splits the money. Everybody wins and Str82u gets to help. And that's whets been keeping me busy
Advice is still free and if any of the websites in the group to the left are confusing or anyone wants to know where to find certain things or needs directions, PLEASE let me know. You'll want to reach me through str82unet @ str82u.net <<<type that in, the @ symbol is separated to keep spammers from grabbing it>>>>
Otherwise, all is well in the land of free people search and we have even secured the .com domain finally from an unscrupulous cyber-squatter. July 07
This technique can be applied to most things you search for on the internet. So there I am, minding my own business when I found myself collecting links to warrants online and inmate searches. I'm also very interested in search engine optimization, so these new pages went up on most of the websites in several different versions and formats. One by one they all have started picking up steam in popular search engines and it might be nice to share a few tips that finding these sites myself and analyzing visitor traffic has taught, since so many people are looking for inmates.

Find Criminal Public Records
Most people don't know it, but they could be on the internet in a court document for something as minor as a traffic violation or as the witness in a court case. Once I saw a DUI arrest report that the officer had written the woman's social security number on, and was never marked out when it was scanned into the courthouse database. Can you believe it? It doesn't happen that way all the time, but most criminal and civil cases you read online have very sensitive information in them including name, address, phone number, drivers license number and what kind of affair they were involved with. That's the same technique I've used for people search with public records and vice-versa to dig up information about a person.

Another method is the warrant search and going to the jail to do an inmate search. Most jails we list on our sites, found in the left hand menu, also share what the prisoner is there for and more. Warrants search does the same thing and can be found more commonly at correction facility or sheriff's office websites that don't have an offender lookup. If nothing else, you know where they are and can get the address and information about visitation and how to contact a person in jail. One last thing, this is just common sense that doesn't occur to the average web surfer, if you don't find it right away or with what you think someone else is calling it, call your search everything possible that makes sense to a consumer. That's what a good search engine picks up on and what people put on site like this to attract you and other searching patrons. Try to describe what it is you want, plain and simple, but descriptive. Don't expect exact results from using either "County Jail" as a search term or even "Johnson County". Get descriptive and keep in mind that words like SEARCH might be called something a little different by other people. Our example here is "Ottawa County Jail". How many do you think there are? I don't even know how many Ottawa counties there are, but there is only one way to find the right one through Google, and that is "Ottawa county jail inmate lookup", otherwise you run into one of my sites or one that is nothing but advertising (by the way, str82u.net is #6). Other phrases could include inmate list, lookup, prisoner, log, booking, population, "Somewhere" who's in jail, arrest, locator, offender, offense and anything associated with the particular region or state. For example, county lockups in Pennsylvania are called PRISON, NOT JAIL. So it would be "Cumberland County Prison" to find it in a search, not "Cumberland County Jail" or "Texas Department of Corrections" sounds right, but it's actually "Texas department of criminal justice" or "TDCJ". OK, so now that I have just turned my Live Space from people search to inmate lookup, you might have found something useful and maybe your results will be what you would like them to be, Good Luck. |
